Delete my account and data

Why there is no button in the app

Your Quickgen HRM account is not one you created. It was issued by your employer's HR team as part of your employment, and the record behind it — your attendance, payroll and tax history — is an employment record your employer is legally obliged to maintain.

Because of that, deletion is a request rather than a switch. That request is honoured; this page tells you exactly how to make it and what happens.

How to request deletion

Email support@quickgentech.com with the subject "Delete my data", and include:

your full name,
your work email address,
your employee ID if you have it, and
whether you want your account closed, your data deleted, or both.

Or ask your HR team, who can raise it for you.

We acknowledge within 2 working days and complete within 30 days.

If you no longer have access to your work email, write from the personal address on your employee record and say so — we will verify your identity another way before acting.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in account, and your ability to use the app
Your profile: contact details, personal email, address, date of birth, emergency contact
Your national identity number and any identity documents you uploaded
Your bank details
Your profile picture and any receipts or certificates you attached
Your session tokens, immediately

What we have to keep, and why

Some records cannot be deleted on request, because employment and tax law requires an employer to keep them for a set period. These are kept for that period and nothing longer, are not used for anything else, and are deleted when the period expires:

Payroll records, payslips and tax statements	Statutory tax record-keeping
Attendance and leave records for periods you were paid for	They evidence the pay that was calculated from them
Salary advances or loans not yet settled	An outstanding balance is a live financial record
The fact that an employment relationship existed, and its dates	Employment law, and answering a future reference or verification

If you want the exact retention period for a given category, ask in the same email and we will tell you.

Deleting the app is not the same thing

Removing Quickgen HRM from your phone deletes the copy of your session held on that device. It does not delete anything on the server. Use the request above for that.
